Two Types of Email Address Searches

There are two ways in which someone can find email address information using this site. The first is commonly referred to as a "forward email search". This type of search is when someone uses a name with the hope of returning an email address. AddressSearch.com is one of the only sites to offer a forward search free of charge.

While we make this service available for free, we do partially hide the email address in the results we provide, allowing the searcher to email the address using a contact form. No access to the actual email is ever given. This is done in an effort to protect the privacy of the email address’ owner, while providing them with a way to be contacted by someone looking for them.

This type of search can be useful to someone looking to reconnect with friends, classmates, relatives, even someone they don't have a personal relationship with but hope to contact.

The second way visitors can search for information on this site is using what is known as a "reverse email search". A reverse search can be helpful when trying to identify the owner of an email address. With this, one can use an email address to find out the owners name and sometimes other identifiable information about them. This search can be used to validate the identity of a sender or ensure you have the correct email address before sending out an email.

Our reverse email search provides searchers with the first name and last initial of the person we have found associated with an email address. When available, we will also provide the general location of the person emailing as well as other information we have found. For more information on reverse searches and the information that is available using our service click here.

Why Sometimes an Email Search is Unsuccessful:

There are millions of email addresses being used on the internet today. New addresses are created every day. An email address can be created from any registered domain name (of which there are billions). Since there isn't a single service responsible for creating all email addresses, there will likely never be a central email directory  providing access to all of them.

As discouraging as this may sound, we still encourage you to give our site a shot. We have put a great deal of work into it and at this time offer information on more than 95 million addresses. Besides, it’s free... and the only thing you have to lose is the few seconds it takes to search. Plus, if we are unable to find the email address of the person you are looking for, we will try to offer up a few different resources where you may be able to find the information on which you are searching.

We Protect Your Privacy

We understand that some people can be sensitive to information found about them in any directory. With AddressSearch.com , we have tried to provide a useful service and yet still try to protect the privacy of those found in our directory. For this reason, when a name search is performed we do not return email addresses or street addresses in full. If you want to contact the person you are searching for, you will need to email them through this site.
